 Legendary American metal band Slayer is gearing up to close FortaRock 2012 with a fitting slice of their devestating thrashmetal. Slayer has been one of the most popular metal bands on the planet for years. We are very proud and honored to welcome these four gentlemen to our festival. The band is one of the most influential and leading ones within the genre. ‘Reign In Blood’ from 1986 is a true metal classic and does not need any further introduction. Records like ‘Hell Awaits’, ‘South Of Heaven’ and ‘Season in the Abyss’ are also of an incredibly high standard. Slayer is still in top form, based on their overwhelming performances last year. The band sounds fresh and incredibly tight and is going to be a major influence on future metal generations for years to come. |
